More PBR PLEASE! Perhaps because I remember as a child coming to the rodeo with my parents when I was a kid at MSG. The cowboys are tough enough to sit on an animal, not a machine with no mind of its own. It is, for me, much more appealing then football, baseball, hockey etc. In these times of Reality TV and everyone wanting to be "somebody", the Chance Pena is real. The bull fighters and the pick up guy on horseback, awesome, New York needs a good shot of reality. What you see cannot be rehearsed, as the bulls have no scripts to read. They are sitting on top of a living, breathing creature, who wants nothing more than to get the two legged off of his back. It is a piece of our american history. The bull, snorts, and spins and kicks and at times throw the cowboy to the ground. No (pardon the pun) Bull in front of the cameras. This is raw, between beast and man(kind). I don't know maybe because I own horses, there is just something about the cowboy. They are tough enough to sit on an animal, not a machine with no mind of its own.
